In 2018, Thane witnessed nearly 8,500 units launched, which contributed to nearly 14 per cent of the overall launches in MMR;

Residential sales in Thane has clocked nearly 9,700 units during 2018, which is nearly 16 per cent of the overall sales in MMR;

In terms of pricing, Thane market is much more affordable compared to Mumbai. With an average per sqft price in Thane at INR 8,750 (on BUA), residential properties in the region are at a discounted price of nearly 50 per cent of Mumbai at the end of 2018;

The market has witnessed four per cent price appreciation during Q4 2018 over Q1 2015
