Board Of Directors

Boman R. Irani

CMD
A first generation real estate developer and an entrepreneur with over 24 years of experience and knowledge of the industry, Mr. Boman R. Irani is the Chairman and Managing Director of Rustomjee Group. Founded in 1996, the Rustomjee Group has now evolved to become one of the most sought after and respected real estate companies in Mumbai. Under his leadership and guidance, Rustomjee has earned the distinction of a respected corporate and a well-known brand in an extremely short period of time. Mr. Irani is also actively associated as National Vice President with the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) that represents 11,500 real estate developers across India to make the industry more organized and progressive by networking closely with government representatives and policy makers. He is also the Vice President of the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI-CREDAI) that represents 1,000 leading real estate developers from Mumbai and the MMR representing the development issues and interacting with the state and the central government. Apart from real estate, Mr. Irani has also forayed into Education and Automobiles. Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles were a part of Boman’s family business. He has a deep emotional connect with the brands and has been instrumental in designing and conceptualizing the relaunch of the brand and bringing the legacy of Jawa back to life.

Chandresh Mehta

Director
Mr. Chandresh Mehta, Director, Rustomjee Group has been the driving force behind the stellar growth and success of the company. He is an electrical engineer with training from ITBHU, Varanasi and has done an MBA from Xavier's Institute of Management (Bhubaneswar). He couples business acumen and deep technical knowhow to execute powerful and successful strategies. He principally overlooks operations that include Construction, Contracts & Purchase, along with P&L responsibilities of some of the major projects in the Rustomjee portfolio. He also leads the redevelopment initiatives for the Group. An expert in engineering, technology and construction, he places together the building blocks that form the cornerstone of the company.

Percy Chowdhry

Director
Mr. Percy Chowdhry, Director, Rustomjee Group is the driving force behind Rustomjee. A graduate in Commerce, he has attended innumerable courses and seminars over the years, including the prestigious leadership course at the Harvard Business School. His illustrious career has been shaped by some of the largest international organizations such as Dunlop India and Coca Cola to name a few. He currently heads the company’s Sales, Marketing and HR functions and also assumes the P&L accountability for various projects of the company. Through his rigor and experience, Mr. Chowdhry ensures that Rustomjee surpasses set milestones in no time. He has also launched a slew of HR processes that were ahead of time. Percy has the enviable reputation of creating brand ambassadors within the organization and ensuring one of the lowest attrition rates in the industry. Percy’s leadership has ensured that cultural and corporate social values remain a priority and all stakeholders receive maximum value from their partnership with Rustomjee. Within the industry, Percy is a reputed stalwart and key speaker at industry events.

Atul Date

Architecture and Design Head
Mr. Date graduated from the University of Pune with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, and holds a Master's Degree in Building Engineering and Management from the reputed School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Atul has extensive experience in Project Management and was actively involved with planning, construction and co-coordinating various construction projects for the last 26 years in organizations such as The Himco India Ltd, Wadhawan Holdings and Dheeraj Realty among others. Currently, he heads Architecture and Design for the entire Rustomjee portfolio.

Sreedharan Veede

Head Construction
A Chartered Engineer AMIE (Civil) with over 33 years of experience, Mr. Veede has had a trailblazing career and has been instrumental in delivering large scale projects such as World Towers in Mumbai, Fortune Executive Towers in Dubai and Maple Condominium in Malaysia to name a few. He currently heads a team of 78 engineers at Rustomjee and is Chief of Construction for our flagship gated estate – Rustomjee Crown.

Venkat B

COO – Project Strategy and Execution
Venkat is a stalwart in the construction and civil engineering space and is currently handling strategy and execution for all projects in Mumbai and Thane. Dynamic, result oriented with 37 years hands on ‘Concept to Commissioning’ project management experience across large scale high rise residential and commercial formats, Venkat is strong in project management strategy and execution from design to contract management to completion and hand over of projects. Some of the iconic projects managed by Venkat include Ashok towers, Ashok gardens, Peninsula business park, Raheja Acropolis, Kalpataru Habitat amongst others in his earlier assignments.

Sajal Gupta

Group CFO and Head Corporate Strategy
A Chartered Accountant with over 29 years of experience, Mr. Gupta was associated with AMW Motors Ltd., a leading player in the commercial vehicle space, Otis Elevator Company (India), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bausch & Lomb India. He is an all-round professional with skills and expertise spanning across all facets of Corporate Finance and Strategy. He has received various awards and accolades for his exceptional contribution in Finance in the Indian Corporate Sector, and he was also awarded by CIMA as 'Most Influential CFO of India'. Currently, he is responsible for Group Finance, Business Development and Corporate Strategy at Rustomjee.

Mahesh Gera

Group CHRO
A Mechanical Engineer from NIT Surat with a post graduate degree in Marketing , Mahesh has a rich multi functional experience of over 29 years with brands like Ceat, Schindler, and Honda to name a few, plus an international stint at Bharti Airtel. Currently, he is the Group CHRO at Rustomjee and has been driving performance delivery through a complete gamut of people and process interventions.

Anupam Verma

President and CEO for Rustomjee Urbania
Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Master’s degree in Electronics and MBA from Pune University, Mr. Verma brings with him 28 years of experience running profit centers successfully in the Telecom and FMCG sectors. Some companies he has worked with include Tata Teleservices, Reliance Life Insurance and HUL to name a few. Currently, he is the President and CEO for Rustomjee Urbania.

Rakesh Setia

President - Sales & Marketing
With over 30 years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, P&L Management and Sales & Marketing, Mr. Setia has worked with some well known organizations such as Kodak, Reebok, Luxor-Parker, Hutch, Idea Cellular and Vodafone Idea Limited across India. He is an avid learner with two MBA degrees from IMT, Ghaziabad and GlobalNXT University, Malaysia, a PG course in Business Finance from ICFAI, Hyderabad and ‘Advance Management Program’ from INSEAD, Singapore. He is currently pursuing Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from SP Jain Institute of Global Research, Sydney. At Rustomjee, he is responsible for the Sales, Marketing and Customer Services function in addition to developing new business opportunities.

Manish Savant

Head of Liaisoning
Manish Savant has been associated with Rustomjee for close to a decade and a half and heads the liaisoning function. He has completed his Architecture from L S Raheja School of Architecture and post graduate diploma in management from Welingkar Institute in Mumbai. Manish is also registered with the Council of Architecture New Delhi. He has a total experience of 22 years in the industry and is an expert in the field of regulatory compliance and design. He has also received Rashtriya Gaurav Award and Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award for outstanding work in the field of Real Estate and Architecture.

Samir VM

Group CIO
One of the longest-serving leaders with Rustomjee, Samir leads Information Systems for the group. Samir VM is an experienced thought leader in the subject of information systems and bears the responsibility to plan, direct, lead, manage and transform the operations as well as the economic health of the organization by means of the information management function. He is certified by The ®Open Group & is also a member of the Association of Enterprise Architects® with access to various international chapters. He continues to serve various mandates including partnering with leading technology organizations to drive an impact across User Experience (UX), Customer Experience (CX), Employee Experience (EX), Digital Transformation (DX) & Job Transformation (JX). His achievements & accomplishments are referable not only by various internal as well as external user groups but also by various OEMs, suppliers & other business organizations.

Harsh Chandra

President of Rehabilitation Projects
A Management Graduate with 28 years experience in sales and marketing, Mr. Chandra has handled overall operations in giants like Coca Cola, Foster’s India Ltd., Tata Teleservices, among others. He brings to the table, expertise and experience in handling large businesses in a competitive and dynamic environment. Currently, he is the President of Rehabilitation Projects.
